Mommy & Me Yoga is not just for mommies! Daddies, nannies, and grannies are also welcome with children aged 6 weeks to 3 years.
Based on Gloria's training in the Spirit Baby Mommy & Me Yoga Program, Blissful Mommy & Me Yoga classes are a fun way to get out of the house, engage with your baby or toddler, stretch and strengthen your body, and learn valuable meditation techniques to deal with the stress and overwhelm often accompanied by parenting. You'll also learn how to use baby yoga to calm and connect with your baby.
A typical Blissful Mommy & Me class consists of a Kundalini Yoga kriya (exercise set) and meditation for the parents and Baby Yoga for the little ones. The kriyas are carefully chosen to benefit new mothers who need to regain strength in the abdomen and pelvic floor after childbirth (though other caregivers would certainly also benefit from the very same kriya.) Other focuses are increasing energy, stimulating the immune system, opening the heart center, and relieving tension in the neck and shoulders that comes from feeding, carrying, and holding babies. Meditations are chosen to alleviate depression, to relieve stress, and to balance the brain. Baby Yoga combines songs and mantras with moving and stretching baby’s limbs and leads to happier, healthier babies. Movements are never forced and parents are encouraged to honor their child’s boundaries.

About Kirsten Taylor:
Mom. Wife. Photographer. Lover of Food. In 2008 we made the decision to homeschool our kids so we could fulfill our dreams of travel. Embracing the wanderlust in our hearts, we spend six months a year exploring the world. VW Camper Van. Wooden Sailboat. Jet Airline. Eager to embrace the ingredients that surround us, I cook all along the way. Whether it's pan-frying robalo in Portugal, roasting a whole chicken in a cast-iron skillet over a campfire in the woods of Maine or baking rustic bread in a sailboat off the coast of remote British Columbia islands, my love for food and fresh ingredients follow me everywhere.

Join me to honor the changing of the sun from darkness into light.
Solstices are a time of great shift in the planet’s energy, bringing a shift in human energy and change as well.
To honor this shift, you’ll let go of what you want to leave behind in the “burning bowl”, and enter into a new year of intentions and what you want to create in yourself and in your life.
We’ll journey through 2 powerful guided meditations, journaling, burning in the bowl, and renewal. If you’re in transition, looking for direction or clarity, or want some grounding this is the event for you.
It’s a great opportunity to connect within and with others, and experience passion and purpose for the coming year!
I often hear from participants this ceremony was a turning point in their life.

All proceeeds will be doanted to Homes For Our Troops - HFOT builds homes as a departure point for these Veterans to rebuild their lives, and once again become highly productive members of society. Despite their life-altering injuries, many of our Veterans have embarked on new careers, completed their college degrees, or started families. Empowered by the freedom a mortgage-free and specially adapted home brings, these Veterans can now focus on their recovery and returning to their life’s work of serving others. Many have embraced their roles as motivational speakers, sharing their messages of persevering through tragedy with groups and classrooms around the country; others take to a national platform to promote awareness of veteran suicide, homelessness and PTSD.
